Creating a WorkForce Profile for the First Time

    Creating a WorkForce profile is an important first step toward enabling Site Access for your provider partners and technicians.

    Note: Work orders requiring Site Access cannot be checked in until technicians are added to WorkForce.

    WorkForce is an extension of ServiceChannel’s Fixxbook solution.

    How to use an existing Fixxbook account to create a WorkForce Profile:

    Important: Should you NOT have a Fixxbook account, follow the instructions for “How to set up WorkForce with a new Fixxbook account,” below.

    1. Navigate to workforce.servicechannel.com
    2. On the WorkForce page, click Login.
    3. Click the down arrow to the right of your name, and then click the Profile tab underneath.

    4. Click the image icon to upload a picture of yourself that will appear on your Site Access Badge.
    5. On the Change Photo modal, click Choose a file…
    6. Browse your computer to locate a photo of yourself, and then click Open, Choose or OK.
    7. Resize and position your photo as needed, and then click Confirm Change. Your photo appears next to your name. This photo will also appear in JobSite whenever you are required to have a badge.
    8. (Optional) Add any additional profile information as desired.
    9. Click Save Account. Your profile updates with your new photo and information.
    10. Refresh the page. Your profile will turn blue, and will also read “Profile Complete.”

    Setting Up WorkForce

    Once your profile is complete you may:

    Important: Should you have a Fixxbook account, follow the instructions for “How to setup WorkForce with an existing Fixxbook account,” above.

    1. Navigate to workforce.servicechannel.com
    2. Click Sign Up. The Sign Up page appears.
    3. Enter your Company Name, Country, and State/Province (if applicable), and then click Next.
    4. On the Your Company…? modal, a list of existing companies may appear.
      1. If your company name is in the list: Stop here. Follow the steps to login to WorkForce with an existing Fixxbook account.
      2. If your company name is not in the list: Click Create New Account. The Account Details page appears.
    5. Enter your company information, and create a Password for your WorkForce account.

      Note: Passwords must contain at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 special character (such as ! # $ & *).

    6. Click the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service.
    7. Click Done. The WorkForce console appears with your name listed as the Administrator.
