Status Definitions

    The following table describes the default statuses that are available when Service Automation is configured for your organization. You can manage Extended Statuses in Service Automation Admin if you have the proper permissions.

    Open

     

    Initial work order status.

    In Progress

    Dispatch Confirmed

    Status used when a contractor ''accepts'' a Work Order.

    On Site

    Status used when a contractor checks into a Work Order.

    Incompleted

    Status used when a contractor checks out of a Work Order as "Job incomplete and requires a follow up visit.”

    Parts on Order

    Status used when a contractor checks out of a Work Order as "Job incomplete and requires parts.”

    Unsatisfactory

    Was unsatisfactory (in Feedback). Generally, it changes the NTE to $0 and notifies both the client and contractor.

    Waiting for Quote

    Status used when a contractor checks out of a Work Order as "Job incomplete and requires authorization.”

    Waiting for Approval

    Status Work Order is changed to when a proposal is submitted.

    Proposal Approved

    Status Work Order is changed to when a proposal is approved.

    Completed

    Cancelled

    Optional status that may be used to indicate a Work Order has been cancelled. NTE generally is set to $0 for these.

    Completed

    Confirmed

    Status used when excellent or satisfactory feedback is provided, or the feedback period has expired (one of the two billable statuses).

    No Charge

    Optional status that may be utilized to indicate a Work Order will not be billable. NTE generally is set to $0 for these Work Orders.

    Completed

    Pending Confirmation

    Status used when a contractor checks out of a Work Order as "Job complete.” Indicates waiting for feedback from the client/location.

    Status utilized to indicate job completion when feedback is not required (one of the two billable statuses).
